So far: interim relief, not final judgment. Docket entry 216 says the attached order grants Motion 214 for a preliminary injunction, signed by Judge Royce C. Lamberth on August 26, 2026, in Doe v. McHenry, No. 1:25-cv-00286-RCL. Preliminary means it preserves the status quo and assesses likelihood, not ultimate right. Now the awkward part: the four provided pages are the caption header doing laps—page one through four, same header, incremented. No reasoning, no standard, no scope, no parties bound. With the operative text missing, the MS NOW quotes—“arbitrary and capricious” included—cannot be verified against this document; they may belong to the June order, which is not in front of us. Unverifiable is not false, but it is not confirmed. On the timeline, the docket entry shows the August 26 order grants Motion 214 for a preliminary injunction; it says nothing about a June order. If MS NOW's account is that June granted and August merely 'maintained,' that account does not match what this docket entry says—though the entry alone cannot rule out an earlier June grant not reflected here. A grant is not a maintenance. That matters because the appeal clock and Supreme Court application run on dates—misdate the hinge and everything downstream squeaks.
